You can use any artwork in *.bmp, *.gif or *.png format for your character portraits.    Size does matter generally you want the portraits around 110x170 pixels.

Here are some collections  of portrait artwork sent to us by users:

         Basic Fantasy portrait set.   - A set of 39 medium quality fantasy illustrations created  by Tikki.

         Cute Creature set. - A set of cute creatures from freeware resources on the World Wide Web.

          Male Game Rip Portraits-   These are game portraits from game fan sites.  Some of these are very high quality.  But understand because these came from fan sites I do not know if they are licensed properly so use at your on risk.   I think you would be safe using them for your own use but do not sale or try to publish in your own work.

           Female Game Rip Portraits- same as above but for females.
